After graduating from high school in Milwaukee in 1975, Jim attended Dartmouth College, receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 1979. He then attended law school at the University of Wisconsin, graduating in 1982. Upon earning his law degree, Jim went on to practice law in Southern California until 1997, concentrating his efforts in litigation, including health care negligence, personal injury, and business litigation claims. He moved back to Wausau in 1997 and has been practicing in Wausau ever since. Jim’s Wausau practice has been varied, including multiple types of litigation and business law.
Jim is a Wisconsin native. He and his wife Aimee enjoy hiking, road biking, and mountain biking. They have two children, Walker and Audrey, and their 7-pound rescue dog named Roo.
