  • Who are Astia Health providers?

    Astia Health providers include board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with extensive experience treating acute illnesses and injuries. This care is supplemented by registered nurses, paramedics, and other practitioners.

  • Is Astia Health a replacement for my personal doctor?

    Yes.   Astia Health provides primary care and urgent  care services to all employer-based and individual/family members.  

  • Do you treat emergencies?

    Yes. Upon calling Astia Health, our trained and certified triage nurses can help determine the best course of action for your medical concern. If you are experiencing a severe or life-threatening condition, please call 911 or immediately visit your nearest local emergency room. Astia Health is NOT a substitute for emergency care. Should you experience chest pain or other serious medical concerns, you should seek emergency care at the closest medical facility.

  • What types of health problems do you treat?

    Primary Care | Urgent Care | Workers Comp | Occupational Health | Chronic Disease Management & Health Problems

  • Can you prescribe medications?

    Yes. When medically appropriate, your Astia Health provider can provide prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice.  

  • Do you provide medical forms such as work and school excuses?

    Yes. Medical forms from virtual health services can be supplied if your provider feels that doing so is appropriate.

  • Do you accept insurance?

    No. Astia Health does not operate under traditional insurance plans.   

  • Can I be assured that my health information will be kept confidential?

    Yes. Astia Health offers a private, secure, HIPAA-compliant service. We ensure that every member of our staff is trained in compliance with HIPAA regulations. You can rest assured knowing that we have many safeguards in place to ensure that all of your healthcare data is secure and protected.

  • What procedures and services do you offer?

    Most procedures that can be carried out in your local clinic, urgent care, or emergency department. 

  • How much does an Astia Health visit cost?

    Monthly cost for individual patient care plans start at $95. All costs are covered under your monthly member costs with a few exceptions.* 

  • Are you able to obtain my past medical records

    Yes.

  • What if Astia Health can't treat my condition?

    Astia Health will refer to the appropriate clinic or or facility based on your preference and insurance.
